Abstract

Gifted knowledge (المعرفة اللدنية) is a subject very rarely discussed and analyzed in our language especially in scientific terms. In this paper the author tries to give his contribution to explaining this issue within the framework of the ehlisunna methodology of research in aquida issues. Some fractions give this kind of knowledge too much importance to the extent that it is sometimes placed before the revelation. At the same time others completely deny this kind of knowledge. The correct attitude is that which puts this kind of cognition where it really belongs. Keywords: cognition / reason / revelation / Ilham / gifted knowledge
